The All-Filters, Inc WG-8710 Grease Filter is designed to effectively remove grease particulate from the air in ducted range hoods and microwave ovens. This washable filter features an aluminum foil pad sandwiched between two pieces of expanded aluminum, with a length and width within ±1/16-inch and a thickness of ±1/8-inch.

To maintain optimal air flow, it is recommended to wash the filter as often as necessary to prevent grease build-up. Soak the filter in a solution of hot water and degreaser for 10-20 minutes, gently agitating it to remove the loosened grease. A residual grease coating on the filter is acceptable, as it helps the filter retain grease during subsequent use.

For best results, replace the filter approximately every 6 months to ensure efficient air circulation and air quality. This OEM part is compatible with and can replace the Broan R610038, R610080, SR610080, Rangeaire 610038, SR610081, and Whirlpool 830865 filters.
